Eligibility Criteria for the Thailand eVisa

• You must hold a passport issued by an eligible country for a Thailand eVisa.
• Your purpose of travel should align with the one you have selected in your application.
• All submitted documents must belong to the applicant and must be genuine and correct.
• Applicants must not engage in any restricted activities in Thailand.

Thailand eVisa Types, Validity & Purposes

Single-Entry Tourist eVisa

It allows a single entry into Thailand within the specified validity period for purposes such as tourism or leisure activities.

Validity: 90 Days from the date of issuance

Stay Duration: Up to 60 days

Purposes:

• Football trial
• Tourism / Leisure activities
• Visiting family residing in Thailand (less than 60 days)
• Medical treatment (less than 60 days)
• Recreation learning or training activities (such as scuba diving, boxing training, Thai massage training, and Thai culinary learning)
• MICE activities supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB)

Prohibited Activities: 

• Travellers must not undertake any paid work or employment in Thailand
• Long-term stay is not allowed under the Single-entry eVisa.

Multiple-Entry Tourist eVisa

With this eVisa, travellers can enter Thailand multiple times within the approved validity period. It is ideal for travellers who want flexibility in their travel plans. 

Validity: 180 days from the issue date

Stay Duration: Up to 60 days

Purposes: 

• Tourism 
• Leisure activities

Prohibited Activities: 

• This eVisa does not permit travellers to engage in income-generating activity in Thailand
• To be involved in any kind of business-related activities 
• Medical treatment is not permitted under the Multiple-Entry Tourist eVisa.
