What each status means

Every Thai e-Visa application passes through clearly defined stages. Here's what each one tells you about your application's progress.

Your application has been received and the system has assigned a reference number. Payment may still be pending.

Documents Verified

Your uploaded documents have been checked and accepted. The application is now queued for consular review.

Under Review

A consular officer is reviewing your application. This stage typically takes 3–10 business days. No action needed.

Visa Issued

Your e-Visa has been approved. The PDF has been emailed to you and is ready to download for travel.

Make tracking stress-free

1

Save your reference number

Screenshot or write down your reference number immediately after submitting. You'll need it every time you check status.

2

Check your spam folder

Status updates and document requests often land in spam. Add the official sender to your contacts to ensure delivery.

3

Apply 1 week ahead

Give yourself buffer time. Apply at least 1 week before your flight to avoid stress if additional documents are requested.
